Rethinking Time and Space in Dante's Worlds

We are interested in papers that deal with any aspect of time and space in Dante (and other authors who adopt a Dantean topos). Papers focusing on Dantean perspective in other texts, poetic time vs. historical time in the Middle Ages, or on Dantean art are also welcome. Other possible topics include: the Commedia's past-present-future as a text, Christian vs. classical history, poetic lineage, translatio studii, Dante's refiguring of the classical past, space and travel in Commedia, memory and time in VN, Dantean archeologies, ancients and moderns in the Commedia, Dantean journeys, definitions of time in medieval philosophy, gendered space, Trojan and Theban space, etc.
