This panel invites interdisciplinary perspectives from memory studies, gender studies, posthumanism, and ecofeminism, analyzing modern literature and film. We examine how memories rigorously shape the relationship between past and present from a transnational and interdisciplinary perspective. We explore how past and future memories can engage with our present and explore and create alternative realities.
Possible topics include but are not limited to:

Trauma studies
narrative studies
War and memory studies
Gender and memory studies
Science fiction studies
Reproduction and futurism 
Queer studies
Posthumanism
Gender and Literature
World literature and memory studies
